CP-FS credential holders are most often employed in any retail food environment as a quality assurance or quality control manager, facility manager, food-safe chemical supplier, or in a more traditional food safety position such as a regulatory inspector/investigator.

CP-FS holders are able to:

conduct facility plan reviews
evaluate hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP) plans or other risk-based food safety programs
understand the causes and prevention of foodborne illnesses
analyze and implement sanitation standard operating procedures for safety and effectiveness

Virtual CP-FS Exam Prep Course

Our virtual, instructor-led CP-FS Credential Exam Prep Course helps you to prepare for the challenging CP-FS credential exam. The course is delivered in short sessions over two weeks, allowing participants to test their knowledge and identify areas where more preparation is needed.

Eligibility

Individuals with the following education and training are eligible for the CP-FS exam:

Bachelor's degree in any subject

Associate's degree
Valid, unexpired Certified Professional Food Manager (CPFM) certificate, International Certified Food Safety Manager (ICFSM), Food Safety Managers Certification Examination (FSMCE) certificate, StateFoodSafety Manager Certification, SuperSafe Mark certificate, OR a ServSafe Food Protection Manager certificate

High School Diploma or GED
A valid, unexpired Certified Professional Food Manager (CPFM) certificate, International Certified Food Safety Manager (ICFSM), Food Safety Managers Certification Examination (FSMCE) certificate, StateFoodSafety Manager Certification, SuperSafe Mark certificate, or a ServSafe Food Protection Manager certificate
