NEHA CP-FS庐 EXAM 2025 UPDATE FAQ

  1. Why is the exam changing? We periodically update our exams to ensure they reflect current professional practices. We aim to refresh our exams every five years to maintain accuracy and relevance.
  2. When will the new exam be available? The new exam will launch June 1, 2025.
  3. How is the exam changing? The exam content will be aligned to . The new exam blueprint is below.
  4. What is the passing score for the new CP-FS庐 exam? The passing score will remain 650.
  5. Is the exam format, including number of test questions and time allowed to complete the exam, changing?

The exam format remains unchanged. It will be computer-based, proctored at Pearson Vue testing centers, and consist of 140 multiple-choice questions鈥�120 scored and 20 unscored pilot questions. Candidates will have 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete the exam.

  1. Which exam should I take? We encourage you to review the information and make the choice that is best for you. If your Pearson VUE exam window expires before June 1, 2025, you MUST take the current exam.
  2. If I need to re-take my exam, can I re-take the same version? Exams taken through May 31, 2025, will use the current version. While we typically enforce a 90-day waiting period between test attempts, this requirement is waived for candidates retaking the exam before the deadline. However, we cannot guarantee test center availability, so we recommend submitting your re-test application as early as possible. Please allow at least two weeks for processing.
  3. Will the cost of the exam be changing? No, the cost for the CP-FS庐 exam will not change when the new exam becomes available.
  4. Will updated CP-FS庐 study material be available? A new study guide for the CP-FS庐 exam is currently being developed for anticipated release in early April 2025.
  5. Will the existing Study Guide prepare me for the new exam? With the updated exam debuting on June 1st, a new edition of the CP-FS庐 study guide will be necessary to prepare. Once the new study guide is available in April you will be able to find it in the by entering CP-FS庐 into the search bar.
  6. Can I return the Study Guide I bought and purchase the new Study Guide when it鈥檚 available? If you would like to inquire about a return, please contact Delina Gigikos at dgigikos@neha.org for assistance.
