Other Wastewater Resources and Programs
- NEHA Certified Installer of Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems (CIOWTS): Through a cooperative agreement with U.S. EPA, NEHA worked with various partner groups to develop a national credential to certify installers of onsite wastewater treatment systems (CIOWT). While NEHA no longer offers the examination, the CIOWTS designation is still recognized and maintained by NEHA through its credential maintenance program. Many practicing credential holders have chosen to maintain their credential through ongoing education and NEHA will continue to support those individuals who hold the credential.
