Mentoring Pilot Program
Our mentoring program is designed to cultivate meaningful relationships and professional growth, aligning with our mission to build, sustain, and empower an effective environmental health workforce.
This is a 6 month program and will conclude in February 2025. Applications are closed for the current mentorship session.

Goals
Goals of the mentorship pairing are decided by the mentor and mentee together. Some examples include:
- Career Guidance: Seek advice on career paths, job opportunities, and industry trends.
- Skill Development: Improve specific skills such as leadership, communication, or technical abilities.
- Networking: Expand professional networks and making valuable industry connections.
- Personal Growth: Gain confidence, self-awareness, and personal development.
- Goal Setting: Learn how to set and achieve short-term and long-term professional goals.
- Feedback and Evaluation: Receive constructive feedback on performance and areas for improvement.

Mentors
- Mentors must be NEHA members with more than 5 years of experience.

- Mentees must be NEHA members who have completed an undergraduate degree and are committed to a career in environmental health.
