2025 InFORM Regional Meetings
The Integrated Foodborne Outbreak Response and Management (InFORM) Regional Meetings are coming to a town near you in early 2025.
Benefits
InFORM Regional Meetings support efforts to prevention and control of disease, disability, and death caused by foodborne, waterborne, and environmentally transmitted infections. Participants have the opportunity to:
- Discuss strategic goals and exchange expertise about improving surveillance systems and practices for detecting, investigating, and controlling enteric disease outbreaks
- Learn in joint and discipline-specific sessions for environmental health specialists, epidemiologists, laboratory scientists, health communicators, and other federal, state, and local public health officials involved with foodborne and enteric disease outbreak response.
- Network and share knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned with other professionals in your region.

Continuing Education
Continuing education credits for each regional meeting are being offered through NEHA. No other continuing education or CDC/PACE credits will be offered.
Travel Funding
There is no fee to attend but registration is required. CDC Epidemiology and Laboratory Capacity (ELC) grant funds should be used to support travel to attend the regional meeting. Contact inform@cdc.gov if you have questions or need a letter of support for travel.
Scholarships
There were a limited number of scholarships available for travel support and the applications are now closed. Travel scholarships are available to staff at local, state, or tribal health departments who work in foodborne and enteric disease surveillance, outbreak response, or environmental health investigations/assessments. Students were eligible to apply. Federal employees are not eligible to apply.
