Virtual Certified Professional – Food Safety Credential Exam Prep Course

Elevate your career and demonstrate your commitment to food safety excellence with our Certified Professional – Food Safety (CP-FS) Credential. Our new exam Prep Course is a virtual, instructor-led training that takes place over 4 days.

March 5, 6, 12, 13, 2025 | 11 am – 4 pm ET

Our virtual, instructor-led CP-FS Credential Exam Prep Course helps you to prepare for the challenging CP-FS credential exam. The course is delivered in short sessions over two weeks, allowing participants to test their knowledge and identify areas where more preparation is needed. The course will be recorded and available for registered participants to view after the training sessions wrap up. Recordings will be available for viewing for 3 months after the last day of class.

The CP-FS credential review course was developed by industry experts from across the country to provide participants with a review of the knowledge and skills necessary to pass the CP-FS Credential Exam. This course aims to help ensure safe food in any retail environment – as a quality assurance or quality control manager, a facility manager, a food-safe chemical supplier, or as a regulatory inspector/investigator.

  • Causes and prevention of foodborne illness
  • HACCP plans and active managerial control
  • Cleaning and sanitizing
  • Conducting facility plan reviews
  • Pest control
  • Risk-based inspections
  • Sampling food for laboratory analysis
  • Food defense.
  • Responding to food emergencies and foodborne illness outbreaks
  • Legal aspects of food safety
