BIOs:
Lisa VanRaemdonck, serves as the Executive Director of Outreach, Partnerships and Professional Learning at the University of Colorado Denver School of Public Affairs and is an instructor at the Colorado School of Public Health. She is also Director of the Rocky Mountain Leadership Program. Her work is dedicated to supporting the intersection of the School of Public Affairs and public service professionals through group facilitation, strategic partnerships, leadership development & training, peer networking and capacity building. Lisa approaches her work with a focus on collaboration, systems thinking, building connections, equity and social justice. Prior to her current, Lisa served as Executive Director of the Colorado Association of Local Public Health Officials and co-directed the Colorado Public Health Practice-Based Research Network. She came to public service after a brief, private sector career in public relations and business-to-business marketing communications. Lisa earned a Master of Public Health and a Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Biology, with a special focus in journalism, from Michigan State University. Nicole Aguilar, is a Registered ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Specialist with over 20 years of experience at the Larimer County Department of Health and Environment, where she currently serves as a Supervisory ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Specialist for the Consumer Protection Program.Her expertise in ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ encompasses retail food, institutions, and plan review. Dedicated to the impact of environmental and public health at the local level, Nicole, a graduate of Colorado State University-Fort Collins with a Bachelor of Science in ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½, has centered her career on promoting education and partnership with regulated facilities in her community.
Believing that program success is directly tied to staff engagement, Nicole is committed to fostering a culture that supports staff growth through training, mentorship, and development.
Christopher Walker, is a Senior Program Analyst in the Programs and Partnership Development department at the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ (NEHA). In this role, Chris collaborates closely with federal, state, tribal, local, and territorial partners on projects across various environmental health domains, including air quality, aquatic facilities, children’s environmental health, healthy housing, lead, on-site wastewater, vector control, water quality, and emergency preparedness.He also provides technical support to several program committees. Chris has accumulated nearly 20 years of experience in environmental health, working in both the public and private sectors across North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Maryland. He holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science Degree in ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ from East Carolina University.
With a passion for education, Chris thrives on teaching and serving as a resource to others.

Katie Huey is a strong connector who loves using her project management and communication skills to bring people and purpose together to help individuals and companies meet their goals.Her strengths in empathy and compassion often attract introverts and people who may be more cautious when navigating change or taking risks.
Katie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from the University of Colorado and is a graduate of Stanford’s Applied Compassion Academy. She is also a certified Grief Educator and her own grief story inspires her to equip leaders in supporting others as they navigate disruptive life events.
She is a graduate of Blue Mesa Coaching’s Transformational Coaching Program and is certified as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation.
