Overview
Larimer County Department of Health and Environment (LCDHE) is hiring an ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Director to lead our team and drive public health initiatives that protect and enhance our community's well-being.
We are looking for a passionate leader with a strong background in public health within a governmental setting who can inspire others and drive innovative solutions.
In this role, you will lead key areas such as food and water safety, air quality, environmental planning, zoonotic disease control, disease prevention, and wastewater management. This includes developing and implementing strategies, collaborating with community partners and regulatory agencies, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. You'll also be able to guide a dedicated team, drive innovative programs, and influence policies that promote public health and safety.

Qualifications
- Five (5) years of experience performing technical, administrative, and supervisory duties in a public health/environmental health agency, required.
- Bachelor's Degree with 30 hours coursework in basic and natural sciences, required. Basic sciences include life sciences, natural sciences, physical sciences, or health sciences.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License by date of hire required.
